Beautiful big fat, heavy French 19th century Confit pot, from the South West of France. The pot is worn weathered and knarley. The rich Mustard glaze is worn chipped and grazed with runs and dribbles. The interior contrasting light Mustard glaze is worn crazed from its years of use. One of its ears is missing and went long ago as can be seen in the pictures. All this has given this pot a huge amount of texture and character almost like a piece of art A lovely example of Village made French country pottery,
