An early 19th century French confit pot with a striking mustard glaze—the perfect rustic centrepiece for a farmhouse kitchen or a vintage-inspired home.
Hailing from Castelnaudary in the Languedoc-Roussillon region (famed for its pottery), this handmade terracotta pot dates between 1800 and 1850. It’s a true "Working Stiff" that spent decades in a French farmhouse kitchen. The rich mustard glaze features beautiful organic drips at the rim, a result of the traditional kiln firing, where pots were stacked upside down. With its crazed patina, honest chips, and time-worn glaze, it carries two centuries of history in its silhouette.
