A Rare Piece of French Alpine Charm
Add antique rustic character to your home with this beautiful 19th century French Jaspe milk jug, handmade in the Pyrenees around the 1890s. Featuring a striking green splatter glaze and delicate Orange glaze marbling over a creamy tin-glazed base, this jug is a perfect example of regional pottery with simple village-made origins.
The softly rounded body reveals glimpses of the buff terracotta beneath, and the aged glaze bears the marks of use, with just a couple of small rim chips adding honest charm. Decorative, functional, and full of character, it's a wonderfully authentic piece to add to your French country decor.
Decorative & Versatile
Display this jug on a rustic shelf, use it as a flower vase, or simply enjoy it as a stand-alone accent. Whether styled in a farmhouse kitchen, French country interior, or eclectic space, it brings warmth, history, and soulful simplicity.
