Step back in time with this fascinating antique German apothecary jar from approximately 1900. This rustic storage jar is a wonderful and unique find, perfect for adding a touch of historical charm to your home.
The jar has a sturdy construction with a wooden lid and base and a thick cardboard body that features a charming faux wood paint effect. The authentic label on the front reads "Sem. Sinap. Pvl. Senfmehl", which is German for "mustard seed powder." When you remove the lid, it holds the faint "ghost" of its original contents, a very evocative detail that connects you to its past life.
