Step into the warmth of 19th century France with this wonderfully authentic Antique Provincial Milk Warmer. Crafted in heavy terracotta, this piece shows the honesty and simplicity of classic French Country life.
What makes this warmer so special is its unusual design: in addition to the normal pouring handle, the potter added two distinctive "ear handles," reminiscent of those found on antique confit jars!
It is beautifully weathered, with a light Toffee glaze on the exterior and a soft cream glaze on the interior. The genuine character is accented by light-coloured glaze drips and some charming old soot and burn marks, showing its authentic use over an open fire.
